Sandlot Times is a media company that aims to inspire the modern-day culture of skateboarding. They have returned and have taken over the news feed. The company has just dropped their second merch capsule just in time for summer. Sandlot Times and its diverse crew of skateboarders and creatives have created a unique nod to the cult classic film which inspired the name.
Ryan Sheckler, Professional Skateboarder, Philanthropist, and Co-founder of Sandlot Times, spoke about the label. He stated: “Sandlot Times is about being yourself and having fun.” He went on to add, “Showing expression through anything you are interested in is what we are about. What’s your Sandlot?”
The imprint came about as Professional Skateboarder Ryan Sheckler and creative Michael Custodio spent countless nights skating and filming at Ryan’s private skatepark in San Clemente. Joined by their crew of close friends, it became a nightly routine. “The Sandlot” quickly became the nickname for Ryan’s park and the content platform covering skateboarding and its lifestyle. The Summer 2021 Capsule is host to a wide range of fun, eye-catching apparel.
The collection features graphics that pay homage to the film and some of its crucial moments, from tees to hoodies and more. Colorful details portray iconic moments from the film, providing something stylish, unique, and bold to add to the wardrobe this season. From the classic peering over the fence, backyard bowl session to the beast chasing skater, there is a t-shirt or hoodie for kids and adults.
