It’s Thursday, and while many of you are scouring through old photos to share on the gram. We are digging through this week’s batch of new footwear. Every week around this time, we take a closer look at the sneakers set to hit store shelves this weekend. We take that list and trim it down to our five favorites, share them with you in the process.
This weekend isn’t too busy in terms of new footwear; however, there are more than a few options to choose from. Difficult as it always is, we were able to do our job and cut the list down to our five favorites. This weekend finds a nice dose of style and color coming from Nike and adidas, while the Jordan Brand puts a new spin on a classic silhouette.
The Sneakers!
First things first, the Undefeated x Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Spurs.” This boldly colored rendition takes the Kobe 4 Proto down a new path, though it’s also releasing in a “Suns” colorway as well. Something about the teal draws us in on this one.
Next up is the Adidas Originals ZX 7000 “30 Years of Torsion.” This striking design features a classic design with modern aesthetics, all while including quite a bold colorway. The white upper is contrasted by details of teal and purple, offering a retro appeal along the way.
Elsewhere adidas also drops off the “Bone White” Yeezy 500. This is sure to be a popular selection this week, as they always are.
Our two favorites from the weekend, in case you’re wondering. The Nike Kobe AD NXT FF in Vast Grey and Thunder Grey, as well as the Air Jordan 12 Retro “FIBA.” Both sneakers offer an elevated approach with some bold attention to detail throughout.
