The Evolution Of Style | Gucci Reveals “Fake Not” Collection

The good folks over at Gucci are back at it again. Today the fashion house is back with a brand new collection that celebrates imitation. Today we get a look at the brand’s Fake Not collection for Fall/Winter 2020. Gucci’s logo and signature motifs have been appropriated for decades. Now the brand and creative director, Alessandro Michele, change things up with a tongue-in-cheek approach.

The new “Fake Not” collection features a fake Gucci logo with the bicolor stripe first seen in the ‘80s. The print is seen on a range of men’s, women’s, and unisex goods. We see the design take over pieces like the Ace sneakers and the East/West top-handle tote.

Each piece is boldly marked with the word “fake” on one side and “not” on the other. Included are ready-to-wear garments like over-sized T-shirts and windbreaker jackets. The Gucci Fake Not collection is more than just a seasonal collection. It also serves as a comment on the imitation in the fashion space.

Take a closer look at the range in the images and head over to Gucci’s site to pick up your favorite pieces immediately. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more style and fashion coming very soon.
