For anyone who hasn’t gotten familiar with THEMXXNLIGHT, now would be a great time to do so. Today the duo is back with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment, serving up a new one called “Ride.” The track is one of two new tracks from THEMXXNLIGHT, coming from their aptly titled EP ‘Double Trouble.’ “Ride” finds the duo showcasing their smooth sounds, doing so over top of an instrumental from Seldgren and BatmanOnTheBeatz.
The track is themed around California Love as the duo take turns showing off their vocal prowess. The two take a spin around Los Angeles with their respective ladies, stripping down and committing crimes along the way. The track has a catchy and edgy appeal that is undeniable and certainly worth your time and effort. The duo sing: “I don’t care what your name is I’ll pretend that I’m not famous I’ll drive you through Las Vegas Watch you strip until you naked You’re my fantasy if I wanna show it Just roll with it Shawty just ride with it.”
