Vince Staples – ‘Ramona Park Broke My Heart’

The west coast native known as Vince Staples is back. The wordsmith returned over the weekend with his highly anticipated new project, ‘Ramona Park Broke My Heart.’ The project arrives after his self-titled 2021 album, which he mentioned would be a precursor to this project. Nearly two years after dropping his self-titled project, Vince delivers ‘Ramona Park Broke My Heart.’ The new album features sixteen new tracks and finds Vince showcasing his lyrical prowess yet again.

The project is led by the Mustard-produced singles “MAGIC” and “Rose Street.” Along the way, Vince is joined by Lil Baby on “East Point Prayer” and Ty Dolla $ign on “Lemonade.” Vince again provides a solid project, effortlessly displaying his penmanship and lyricism. Some of our favorite standouts include “The Beach,” “DJ Quik,” “Slide,” “Player Ways,” and “The Blues.” Vince spoke about the project recently. He stated: “I am often told the lie that life is what you make it.” He added, “For over a decade, most of my work has been an anthology of what I believed to be home. Now, I’ve realized that it reaches beyond location. I have been exploring the utility of home. Security. Comfort. Meaning. The Answer. The excuse. To outgrow is to love blindly no longer. Ramona Park Broke My Heart is a story of that growth.”

Check out his new album in the stream below, and look for more from Vince Staples coming very soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new music.
