The legendary band known as Weezer is back. The group is not only back with some new music but also some big news. The group is making its way to Broadway this Fall, and they’ve served up another installment of their SZNZ project. The band recently announced a brief residency at The Broadway Theatre from September 13th to September 18th. The residency has been described as “unlike any shows Weezer have played before.”
Each show will correlate with a different season’s EP and feature a setlist composed of classics and songs that haven’t been played in a while. The fifth night will comprise all the songs from the SZNZ project and Weezer fan favorites from the previous four nights. The group’s latest SZNZ: Summer EP follows Spring, which dropped back in March. The Summer iteration features seven tracks that were inspired by Weezer’s classic ’90s alternative rock sound.
