818 Tequila Reveals “Eight Reserve” Ultra-Premium Añejo Tequila

The creative minds over at 818 Tequila have announced something new. The company recently announced its ultra-premium Añejo tequila, the Eight Reserve. 818’s Master Tequileros craft eight Reserve in Jalisco, Mexico. The blend of Añejo is aged up to eight years in French and American barrels.

The tequila offers something unique and classic, described as smooth and rich with flavors of cooked agave, vanilla, cinnamon, dried berries, and praline. As for aroma, there are notes of vanilla, clove & cinnamon, toasted nuts, honey, orange peel, and black cherry. The tequila’s defining aspect is the unique ceramic decanter in the shape of an “8.” The decanter was designed by Valerio Sommella and crafted by local artisans in Pachuca, Mexico. 818 will release the bottles on September 19th for a price of $200.
