The one and only, Alicia Keys returns. Due to the coronavirus and COVID-19 pandemic, Alicia Keys pulled the release of her upcoming album, A.L.I.C.I.A. The album hasn’t been given another release date as of yet, but the artist decided to share a new single for our listening enjoyment. Today the beautiful and talented Ms. Keys returns with a brand new single entitled “Good Job.” The track was originally crafted as an ode to her mother, though she offers the track as a tribute to those on the frontlines of the pandemic.
The track honors the first responders, essential workers, and everybody else making a difference in the world right now. Alicia spoke about the track and its meaning. She stated: “Whether you’re on the frontlines at the hospitals, balancing work, family and homeschool teaching, delivering mail, packages, or food, or facing other personal difficulties because of COVID-19, I feel you.” Alicia went on to add, “You are seen, loved, and deeply appreciated.”
