It’s been three years since Alicia Keys dropped off her last album. Today the songstress returns though, this time around with a brand new single. Ms. Keys has linked up with Miguel for a sensual new cut entitled “Show Me Love.” The track finds the duo bringing a dose of their unrivaled talented, showing off their range and impressive vocal prowess in the process. The track is a smooth, mellow cut that arrives just in time.
The R&B powerhouses go back and forth, sharing a smooth instrumental while showing off their chemistry in the process. Alicia sings, “Show me love like / You see red lights / You crashed in it like / A deer inside of headlights.” While Miguel responds, “Yeah I show you love like / It was passionate / I just wanna bask in it / Winning like a championship.” The track comes as Alicia is working on a new album, a follow-up to 2016’s Here. She recently spoke with Harper’s Bazaar, opening up about new music and her impending album. She stated: “It reflects where I am today—the deeper acceptance I have of who I am as a full human being, the flaws, the pieces that I used to push aside because I wasn’t ready to embrace the anger or the fear or the crazy.”
