The British singer-songwriter recently released a new single, linking up with Murda Beatz and Frank Dukes for “Northside.”

The track has an undeniable retro aesthetic, while Ama Lou shows off her infectious vocals. The track’s retro vibe is accented with a contemporary allure, while Ama Lou’s vocals fit flawlessly over top. Ama even provides a fitting set of souls that fits flawlessly with the feel of the single. She spoke to Vogue recently, opening up about her outfit choices.

The songstress stated, “The first look is a fit that is kind of classic.” Ama added, “It’s a North London fit. Growing up, my friends dressed like that.” Ama Lou has certainly got something special with this one, and it’s easily one of our favorites. Ama Lou shows off her talents. She sings: “‘Cause I know the Northside is looking out for me. I wanted to cry but there’s nothing to make me. Going in circles, I thought that I was really finished. Get so high will I stop fucking with it.”
