Art With Spirit | London Artist Jo Hicks Creates Latest Bombay Sapphire Mural

Bombay Sapphire is adding their spirit to street art. Over the past few weeks, we have gotten a look at some amazing new murals from incredible artists in the UK. The murals were created in conjunction with Bombay, offering a creative take on their traditional bottle design. Today the iconic brand is back, rounding off its art and creativity focused campaign with Jo Hicks. The London-based artist is known for unique, pop-art aesthetic with a bold, colorful appeal.

Hixxy delivered yet again, offering a playful design full of color and texture, incorporating everyday objects into the mix. Hixxy’s design comes after an array of new murals from Edinburgh artist Matt Sloe, Manchester artist Qubek, and Brighton graffiti artist Aroe. Every artist brought their unique style and technique to the campaign, offering an abstract interpretation of the Bombay Sapphire bottle. Hicks’ design embodies that pop-art approach, blending pastel tones of blue along with dots and free-flowing circular patterns. Each design is different, dope, and colorful. While the campaign as a whole is quite impressive.

Take a closer look at the Jo Hicks entry into Bombay’s mural campaign in the images below and find out more about the campaign from the Bombay Sapphire Instagram channel. Keep it locked here with The Culture Curators for more drinks, art, and hopefully a combination of the two coming soon.
