The world of art collides with some spirited support. The gin experts over at Bombay Sapphire are back. They are currently on a quest to “discover the possibilities within,” doing so by enlisting the talents of several street artists from across the UK. Each of the artists was tasked with creating striking murals in their home cities. All while inspired by the iconic Bombay Sapphire bottle. Edinburgh artist Matt Sloe unveiled his cartoon illustration style.
The mural features the Bombay Sapphire bottle in a nautical world, with eye-catching references and brilliant attention to detail. Now we get a look at the work of Qubek, an artist hailing from Manchester. The artist tapped into one of his favorite motifs, featuring smashed chains, that reference Manchester’s industrial heritage. Vivid and vibrant, the mural is an interesting interpretation of the classic bottle. The art is set atop a vibrant blue and yellow background which mimics the distinctive blue of the Bombay Sapphire bottle.
The mural is bold, bright, vivid, and detailed with unique influence provided by the city of Manchester. This is certainly something worth checking out and definitely worth your attention. The mural is just the latest in the new campaign. Though we are excited to see other artists “discover the possibilities within.”
