The one and only, Amir Obé is back. The artist has been relatively quiet this year, only appearing on K. Roosevelt’s November project, Bloom. Aside from that, Amir has been keeping a rather low profile. Today the artist returns, doing so with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment called “Silver Lining.” The new track arrives after he dropped Can’t Be a ____ Here 3 late last year.
The single finds Obé showing off his uncanny delivery and flow, offering a smooth and unique single in the process. The track is pushed by these refreshing melodies, which are seamlessly paired with some slick drum work. The combination provides Amir with one hell of a home to do his thing, and he doesn’t fall short. Amir takes to the track and puts together a solid showcase of his lyrical talents, unleashing a barrage of refreshing wordplay in the process. This is certainly not the one to sleep on. Amir does his thing and does it well, showing off his style and delivery flawlessly.
