Another One! The Jordan Brand Reveals The Air Jordan 36

The good folks over at the Jordan Brand are back at it again. Always putting their best foot forward, today, the brand returns with a look at their latest signature shoe, the Air Jordan 36. Known for bringing technological evolution to each silhouette, the Jordan Brand has created something “light” and effective. The new sneaker features a new jacquard leno-weave upper build which provides breathability and a lighter feel.

The sneaker also boasts a double-stacked full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit and a fine-tuned plate system. Martin Lotti, VP, Jordan Brand Design, opened up about the thirty-sixth signature sneaker. He stated: “We want those who love the brand to see something that’s always been a part of our design legacy: the power of teamwork that goes on between a core group of folks to create product excellence.” Lotti went on to add, “Jordan Brand is inspired by one man, but it’s carried into the future by many, many people who are experts in their field.”

The sneaker features a nod to the Air Jordan 6, rocking a lace shroud, cutouts on the treading, and the heels. The sneaker features a different approach, which includes Zoom bags that are not exposed, instead offering a ribbon-foam material that runs throughout the midsole.

Jordan Brand Footwear Designer Tate Keurbis stated: “We weren’t focused on exposing the bags anymore. We wanted to connect the ribbon and cover up the plate system.” He added, “In doing so, we brought in subtle details from the Air Jordan VI and created a tooling that conveys Michael’s lasting influence in worldwide culture.”
