If you haven’t yet gotten familiar with the sounds of Ant Clemons, you are missing out. The artist was first heard on Kanye’s 2018 album before dropping his debut album last year; Happy 2 Be Here. Now the artist returns with something brand new, serving up his first single of 2021 while providing something smooth and infectious yet again. This time around, Mr. Clemons serves up a new one called “Section,” which features the talents of Kehlani.
The duo comes together to showcase their respective talents, doing so over top of quite an impressive instrumental. Both artists bring their a-game and showcase their feelings for a partner that is no longer in their lives. The two speak on missing that person and how the influence of alcohol can change everything. The track also serves as a follow-up to “Story Of My Life” and “Better Days.”
Ant never disappoints, and he certainly doesn’t start with this one. No word on where this new material may end up, but we hope this is the beginning of something bigger from the artist.
