The legendary, talented, and timeless Black Thought is back. The wordsmith made his return Friday with a brand new album, serving up a collection of great new material. The new album is entitled ‘Streams of Thought Vol. 3: Cane And Abel,’ an infectious and impressive new project. The thirteen-track offering was produced entirely by Sean C and finds Black Thought doing what he does best. The album serves as a follow-up to his previous two drops, Streams of Thought with 9th Wonder and Vol. 2: Traxploitation with Salaam Remi.
This time around, Black Thought unleashes something different and thoughtful, as expected. The thirteen-track opus includes a bevy of standouts like “Thought Vs. Everybody.” Along the way, the lyricist is joined by the likes of Pusha T, Killer Mike, ScHoolboy Q, Swizz Beatz, and more. The Last Artful, Dodgr, and Portugal. The Man show up on three tracks, while C.S. Anderson can be found on a few tracks as well. Some of our favorites include “Good Morning” with Pusha T, Killer Mike & Swizz Beatz, “Nature Of The Beast” featuring Portugal. The Man & The Last Artful, Dodgr, and “Steak Um” featuring TDE’s very own, Schoolboy Q.
