While many of us long for the days of ‘Breaking Bad,’ K-Swiss is bringing it back. The iconic sportswear and footwear imprint is back, continuing their collaborative partnership that began back in 2019. K-Swiss returns with three takes on the Classic 2000 model, all inspired by key themes from the show. Now K-Swiss is back with a whole dose of new style that offers a bold and eye-catching look to the collaboration. The “Cooking” makeup is seen inspired by the yellow hazmat suits Walter White and Jesse Pinkman wore.
The sneaker features a white Classic 2000 as the base, while the upper is host to a yellow ripstop sheath. The shroud covers a sleek sneaker while host to a throat zipper and a grey/pink heel buckle plus signature Breaking Bad graphics on the rear lateral side. The “Clean” iteration includes the same shape and silhouette, though the shroud has changed. This time around, we find a vibrant rubberized orange. This serves as a homage to the high-tech operation the two cooks ran. The finishing rendition is the “Recreational Vehicle,” a shoe that debuted in 2019. The sneaker is host to a retro cream upper, which is accented by a stripe inspired by Jesse Pinkman’s stolen RV.
It even features a debossed Breaking Bad logo on its tongue and comes packaged in a special bullet hole-riddled box.
