The good folks over at Mitchell & Ness are back. This time around the return to take us back in time yet again. The vintage jersey and nostalgia company has released a timely authentic retro of Michael Jordan‘s 1984 Team USA Olympic jersey and shorts. The release arrived just in time for episodes three and four of ESPN’s critically-acclaimed The Last Dance docu-series. The red uniform is notable due to the fact that MJ wore it during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, years before the Dream Team.
The release keeps the classic deep-V neck-line popular from that era and features a ‘USA Basketball Classics’ patch. The patch is even detailed with the year and Michael Jordan’s name, which doesn’t appear on the back of the jersey. The jersey is finished off with a matching pair of shorts with ‘USA’ written down the side piping. The two pieces are available now and certainly a must-have for Jordan fans.
