Chance The Rapper – Child Of God

Chicago’s very own Chance The Rapper is back. The wordsmith has returned with something new for our listening enjoyment, serving up his first single of 2022. The new track is called “Child Of God,” and it’s his first since “See Me Fly” on the Space Jam 2 soundtrack. Chance shows off his talents alongside Naïla Opiangah and Moses Sumney, cooking up something uplifting and highly contagious.

The track is driven by incredibly smooth, laid-back melodies that allow Chance to open up. He provides us with a dose of his uncanny wordplay, showcasing his growth as a man and as an artist. This man never disappoints, and he doesn’t start on this one. Chance raps: “Carried the weight of the world, but it came with some handles I drag it to the basket, Moses with the passage Safely Lord God, please make an example I try to break shackles, now they ankles in shambles I can’t expect them to be grateful and thankful.”

There is no word on where the track may live or if Chance is working on a new project. But stay tuned. Check out the new single in the stream below, and look for much more from Chance The Rapper coming soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding new music.
