We, as sneakerheads, are collectively fond of a few classic silhouettes. One of those is the Air Jordan 5. It’s been an icon since its arrival, and since its release has seen a number of eye-catching colorways. The legendary Air Jordan 5 returns, though this time around coming in a tropical-influenced colorway. Dubbed the “Island Green” AJ5’s, the tropical influenced colorway is sure to bring a dose of warmth to your style this season. The eye-catching sneakers were initially unveiled as part of Nike/Jordan’s “Singles Day” collection for China.
The sneaker comes rocking an all-white upper, crisp, and clean, accented with a tonal, textured palm tree print. The sneaker is then detailed with pops of teal, which are seen on the eyestays, tongue, and more. The midfoot’s signature plastic netting also gets a hit of color, keeping adding to the charm and aesthetic of the design in the process. The kicks offer contrasting Jumpman logos, with a black design on the tongue and teal on the heel. The sneakers are detailed with black laces and trim that tie it all together. The black midsole includes a speckled silver look. Icy teal details finish off the outsole, offering a colorful addition to any collection.
