After announcing the collaboration just a few days back, Vans returns with a look at something special. Vans reveals an official look at their impending The Nightmare Before Christmas collaboration. The four-piece collection includes some of Vans’ most-familiar skate silhouettes. The sneakers are elevated with an array of color and details that celebrate the iconic animated film.
The collaboration includes the Sk8-Hi, Authentic, Old-Skool, and Slip-On. Each pair receives The Nightmare Before Christmas makeovers, boasting thoughtful touches hidden throughout. The Authentic includes a collage of characters along its canvas upper. While a subtle Easter Bunny print hidden inside the sock liner. The Sk8-Hi sports prints of Sally, Zero and the Zombie Band. Also boasting the sax player’s classic “Nice work, bone daddy” line emblazoned inside the leather heel. The Authentics are seen with yellow and red tones under a lateral side patch of Lock, Stock and Barrel. Black suede toes and tongues mirror the detailing on the Sk8-Hi, while the Slip-On features a plastic appliqué of Jack Skellington’s bow tie and matching stripes.
