Is Wiz Khalifa the hardest working artist in hip-hop right now? He might just be! The wordsmith has been unleashing a barrage of new material, showing off his lyrical chops along the way. Last week Wiz served up a handful of tracks including heaters like “On the Road,” the Harry Fraud-laced “Really & Truly.” Then he returned to unleash “I’ll Be Good,” and a few others, keeping us entertained in the process.
Now he’s back with another trio of tracks, again showing off his prowess in the process. The three tracks released today include “Don’t Stop,” “No Change,” and “Presidential Smoke.” “Don’t Stop” finds Wiz going in over top of a snappy, energetic home while hitting us with his uncanny wordplay. Second up, “No Change” is driven by these clean, crisp drum sections while paired with some contagious melodic elements. Wiz goes in over top of the beat, and effortlessly does his thing. Wrapping things up is “Presidential Smoke,” an ode to that green leaf that we are all quite fond of. Wiz Khalifa has been on quite a roll as of late and doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
