The fellas, Wiz Khalifa, Smoke DZA, Big K.R.I.T., and Girl Talk are back. After announcing a collaborative project and dropping their first single, the fellas are back with another one. This time around, the four talented artists have aligned for a smooth new track called “How the Story Goes.” The track is the second single from their collaborative album that arrives on April 8th, entitled Full Court Press.
The project is described as “a culmination of friendships going back ten-plus years and a unique intersection of all of our work,” says Girl Talk. “It was just a great energy in the room. I wanted to have an environment where they could do what they do best; try out a bunch of different ideas and have fun with it.” He went on to add, “Wiz, K.R.I.T., and DZA all have very different styles. As a fan of each of them, I wanted to capture what it is that draws me to their music. It’s like with my previous albums, I’m trying to take pieces of all my favorite elements and then recontextualize it into something new.” After serving up “Put You On” earlier this month, the crew returns with “How the Story Goes.”
The track is infectious and impressive, as all the artists showcase their style and delivery flawlessly. This one is going to be something special.
