After serving up their collaborative effort, Full Court Press, Wiz, K.R.I.T., DZA, and Girl Talk are back. The four talented artists have aligned for a brand new single called “Ain’t No Fun.” The track is the latest standout from their impressive new album, which arrived this past Friday. The new track follows their other singles, “Put You On” and “How The Story Goes.”
This time around, the group puts a modern flip on the concept of Snoop’s original. Girl Talk recently opened up about the track. The artist stated: “‘Ain’t No Fun’ is a flip on the concept of Snoop’s original, kind of from the female perspective of the titular line. I wanted to keep the production diverse throughout the project while still maintaining a cohesive feel.” He went on to add, “This beat stands out in the context of the album because it doesn’t have a sample and uses a more minimal style. But I thought that with some of the specific sound design and the overall energy, it really connected to the project as a whole.”
