The Jordan Brand is looking to add some tropical color to our fall fashion. After unleashing a look at the “Island Green” iteration of the Air Jordan 5, the brand is back with another “Island Green” creation. Today we get our first look at the “Island Green” Air Jordan 13. Another eye-catching icon, the AJ13, is something unique. The sneaker brings together bold accents and high-end construction, creating a look that’s fresh in style. The AJ13’s standard pockmarked quarter panel is gone. It has been replaced by a scaly black crocodile leather.
A traditional tumbled leather is seen on the toe box, providing a nice contrast in texture and material. There is also a hit of supple teal suede, which originates on the heel, wrapping onto the lateral/medial sides. The holographic jewel on the ankle has been replaced by a chrome iteration, mixing a “23” with the Jumpman Logo. A three-dimensional metal Jumpman logo on the tongue completes the look. The sneakers are sure to offer a dose of color to your style, providing a bold new look and a flashy dose of tropical-inspired colors. The Air Jordan 13 “Island Green” will release on Nike SNKRS, and at select Jordan, stockists come November 9.
