After unleashing two incredibly successful stand up comedy specials with Netflix Dave Chappelle is back! He returns and once again links up with Netflix. The two are coming together for another stand up special entitled ‘Sticks & Stones,’ which is slated to arrive soon. The streaming giant revealed a new trailer for Dave Chappelle announcing his upcoming stand-up comedy special Sticks & Stones.
The new special follows 2017’s Dave Chappelle: Equanimity & The Bird Revelation. The new trailer finds actor Morgan Freeman returning as the comedian’s narrator. The video finds Mr. Chappelle walking through the desert while Morgan provides the voice over. The actor speaks about the current climate of comedy and internet culture. He states: “if you say anything, you risk everything.”
The footage ends with the comedian pickup a microphone before sitting down on a stool in front of a backdrop photo screen. Mr. Chappelle seems okay and open with speaking his mind, no matter what the social climate. That’s something we can certainly respect and something we’re looking forward to hearing more of.
