Celebrating the collaboration between designer, street, and lifestyle retailer UNKNWN and John Maragaritis have come together once again. The multi-faceted artist and designer behind New York Sunshine and UNKNWN have come together to drop the “Demolition Unit” Collection. The collaboration is themed around the process and opening of UNKNWN’s new concept retail space in Miami, Florida, which opens later this year.
The lookbook, seen below, provides a unique glimpse into the full structure construction process where their new Wynwood location will arrive in the coming months. The collaboration is a tease into the immersive experiential aspects of the store design that will elevate and entertain customers. UNKNWN CEO Jaron Kanfer recently posted an outtake of the shoot featuring the team over a table of drawings including co-founder Frankie Walker Jr. As for the collaboration itself, the capsule boasts a tee-shirt, a hoodie, and a hard hat.
The designs are seen in black, boasting clean attention to detail throughout. The Demolition Unit T-Shirt features dual UNKNWN x New York Sunshine branding and TNT explosion graphics. The Demolition Unit Hoodie also boasts UNKNWN x New York Sunshine branding as well as install team logos. A Demolition Unit Vest is also seen, produced in limited quantities, while the Demolition Unit Helmet finishes things off. The collection is eye-catching and bold, a striking way to celebrate what is coming in the next few months.
