With a new album slated to drop soon, Denzel Curry recently returned. The South Florida native took over the interwebs late last week with his latest track, “Walkin.” Never one to disappoint, Mr. Curry, hits us with his unadulterated wordplay and smooth style, putting together something lyrically potent for our listening enjoyment. Sitting down with Zane Lowe, Denzel spoke about the track, its meaning, and the inspiration.
Curry stated: “‘Keep walking’ means you got to keep moving forward with whatever is going on in your life. So when I wrote this record, it was about just moving forward and keep going no matter what’s happening in your life.” The wordsmith further added, “Good things, bad things, they all just going to come to pass, and you just got to keep walking. There’s a difference between walking away from something and running away from something.” The track is the latest from Denzel, who recently announced his forthcoming project, Melt My Eyez See Your Future.
