Designer jeffstaple and the artist SBTG have aligned to create something special. The two have come together to create a limited-to-30 handcrafted take on Nike‘s Air Force 1. The sneaker is dubbed the “Pigeon Fury,” offering a blend of Staple’s signature pink and grey color palette with SBTG’s hallmark camouflage. The design is a nod to Staple’s home base of NYC and SBTG’s residence in Singapore. The sneaker is seen with a grey fabric base and matching suede overlays.
The signature accent is an embroidered abstract camo pattern on the midfoot Swoosh. The pattern meshes a duo of grey tones with pops of pink for a nice contrast. Each of the sneaker’s lateral heel features a special stamped detail. A pigeon logo is seen on the left, while Staple’s name in SBTG’s signature Arabic font is seen on the right. The tongue features a co-branded leather patch that reads “Issue: Staple + SBTG. From: NYC To SIN.”. The shoes will not be sole. All 30 pairs will be given away via a free-to-enter raffle on staplepigeon.com that begins on November 20 at 1 p.m. EST. It ends at the same time on November 21. Interested consumers can also enter the raffle by purchasing a co-branded SBTG x Staple shirt.
