The smooth, soulful sounds of Jacquees are back. It’s been a minute, but today the singer/songwriter returns ahead of his upcoming album. The crooner has been putting in work on a new project entitled ‘Round II,’ and he returns with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. Jacquees links up with Young Thug and Gunna for a smooth new single entitled “Verify.” The track finds the trio showing off their respective talents and effortless appeal.
The track is a smoothed out, laid back cut that is driven by some subtle yet contagious guitars. The slick and catchy melodic elements are paired with some crisp, punchy drum work. The combination provides a nice home for the artists to do their thing. Jacquees holds things down on the vocal end of things while Gunna and Young Thug bring their lyrical prowess.
The trio cooks up something solid, something we wouldn’t’ suggest sleeping on. Jacquees always delivers something worth rocking with, and this new single is no different. So, while we patiently await ‘Round II’ from Jacquees, check out this contagious new single in the stream below.
