You might not be too familiar with Jayla Darden, but you should be. Hailing from Detroit, Jayla returns with something brand new for our listening enjoyment. She returns with her latest project, a smooth new EP entitled ‘Onto Something.’ The EP finds the artist providing a dose of her cool, unadulterated talents, providing a new collection worth your time and effort.
The seven-track EP was written, produced, mixed, and mastered by Jayla herself. She recently opened up about the EP as well. The artist stated: “Onto Something is my take on real-life experiences ranging from relationships to personal struggles. Ultimately, this collection of songs serves as a reminder to choose positivity, even in negative situations.” The EP is loaded with standouts like “Sweating Me,” “Got It,” “Goofy,” and the title track, “Onto Something.”
