The one and only Jazmine Sullivan is back! This time around, the songstress is back with her second single of the year, serving up another contagious effort in the process. Ms. Sullivan drops off an infectious new track entitled “Pick Up Your Feelings.” The track arrives after her “Lost One” release from August. “Pick Up Your Feelings” is rather relatable, while Jazmine shows off her vocal prowess and her range.
She spoke about the track recently, describing it as being about “being careless with someone’s heart and having to live in regret from losing them.” The track finds Ms. Sullivan on the other side of the fence as she calls for the relationship’s end. The single finds the songstress telling her -lover to pack up all their things, including their feelings, and hit the road. She does so over top of this silky smooth instrumental.
The song is driven by these incredibly catchy melodies while paired with these slick drum sections. The combination provides a perfect home for the singer/songwriter to do her thing, and she certainly doesn’t disappoint.
