The creative folks over at G-SHOCK are back at it, again blending time and style. This time around, the legendary watchmaker has paired up with Wildlife Promising, an NGO dedicated to African wildlife preservation, for an exceptional new timepiece. The duo has put a reptilian twist on the MTG-B1000, providing something unique, eye-catching, and functional for our daily style.
The new timepiece is a limited-edition model inspired by the African Rock Python. The watch is decked out in a bold gray snakeskin pattern that wraps around the entire timepiece. The design is accented by “G-SHOCK,” “SHOCK RESIST,” and “WILDLIFE PROMISING” branding while staying centered on the snake theme. The indicator at 9 o’clock is seen in the shape of a python’s head, while the second-hand reflects a snake’s tongue.
Elsewhere there is an understated snakeskin pattern on the solar dial, adding a nice touch of subtle style. The watch also features a Bluetooth function that allows users to sync up the time on the watch with the time displayed on his/her smartphone. The timepiece also includes water-resistance of 200 meters, a 24-hour stopwatch, daily alarms, and a fully automatic calendar.
