If you aren’t a fan of Jessie Reyez, you apparently haven’t been formally introduced. The beautiful and incredibly talented songstress is back. After working with a range of today’s hottest artists, she is gearing up for something bigger and better. Jessie has been on a roll as of late, which we hope indicates a new album on the horizon. Today the songstress is back with a silky smooth new single entitled, “Far Away.”
The track is the latest from Jessie, arriving after her collaborative efforts with Eminem, 6LACK, SonReal, THEY. & more. The single serves as a follow up to “Imported,” and the Toronto native doesn’t disappoint. The track is smooth and sultry, slick and catchy, another excellent example of Jessie’s incredible talents. Her unique voice fits flawlessly with the infectious backdrop, which in turn provides a unique and undeniable listening experience. Ms. Reyez never lets us down, and she certainly doesn’t start with this one. This is certainly one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on. While there is no word on where all this new material may live, we’re hopeful that she’s working on something bigger.
