KXNG Crooked – 2Nite

The west coast legend, KXNG Crooked is back. The wordsmith has been on a tear over the past 39 weeks, keeping us laced with new music in the process. Today Crooked is back with another new one; this one called “2Nite.” The track finds KXNG Crooked going in over top off another Dizz-flipped instrumental, doing so over top of a sample of “Tonite” made famous by DJ Quik. Crooked takes on a ride through time, unleashing a dose of his lyrical talents in the process.

He raps: “Crooked is Biggie like with the shit he writes.” He goes on to add: “Cherish life, I ain’t scared of heights, on them Paris flights/ Sometimes, to live in paradise, you gotta roll a pair of dice/ That’s why my diamonds are talking to these birds, call it parrot-ice/ N***a, I wear it nice/ You can’t play with a boss’ cards, I made it off the bars/ David off cigars/ Spit for n****as who never made it off the yard/ Still calling shots though, paying off the guards/ The snitches out here hitting more notes than an opera singer/ That’s why my gun stay pointing like Tekashi finger.”

This dude never disappoints, and he certainly doesn’t start on this one. Take a few minutes from your busy day and check out the latest entry of ‘The Weeklys’ in the stream below. Keep it locked here to The Culture Curators for more new music and more from KXNG Crooked coming very soon.
