After serving up her sophomore album, 777, Latto is back. Before dropping the project, the artist revealed that a remix of her single “Big Energy” would be arriving soon. Well, today is the day. Latto has joined forces with the one and only Mariah Carey for the “Big Energy (Remix).” The track arrives after a handful of rumors, but it should be no secret. Latto’s “Big Energy” uses a sample from the Tom Tom Club’s “Genius Of Love,” which is the same track that Mariah’s classic single “Fantasy” samples.
Latto took to Twitter to thank the songstress, stating: “THANK U FOR YOUR LEGENDARY VOCALS & ALL THE ADVICE YOU GAVE ME, QUEEN.” The track finds Latto showing off her lyrical talents yet again while Mariah adds her vocal prowess to the track. The ladies effortlessly do their thing and cook up something infectious. You’ve been waiting on this one.
