The Fender Newport 2 Portable Bluetooth Speakers

Fender is traditionally known for its guitars; however, in 2017, they revealed the first “Monterey” and “Newport” Bluetooth speaker models. The designs were inspired by the ’60s Newport and Monterey Pop festivals. Today Fender returns with a look at the Newport 2 portable Bluetooth speaker. The Newport’s design inspired Fender’s iconic “Silverface” guitar amplifiers.

The device features a brushed metal grille, toggle switches, sapphire jewel indicators, and numbered analog volume EQ knobs that control the treble, mid, and bass. The Newport 2 is updated for better sound quality while retaining the model’s classic shape. This time they arrive in a slew of new colorways, including “Titanium Gray/Black,” “Titanium Gray/Dakota Red” and “Champagne Gold/Black.”

New tuning and sound quality include Bluetooth 5.0, Duo Mode stereo, Party Mode, and a new fast-charging function that provides one hour of battery life with 10 minutes of charge time. The Fender Newport 2 Bluetooth speakers are now available at select retailers in Asia, while a stateside release will be announced soon.
