With a new album set to arrive on October 11th, we can expect to hear a lot more from Lil Kim. Today she is back with another new single, unleashing a new one entitled “Pray For Me.” The track finds the legendary wordsmith linking up with Rick Ross and Musiq Soulchild, unleashing another solid example of her lyrical prowess in the process. The track is the latest single from Kim’s upcoming album, ‘9.’
The track starts off with a laid back approach as an infectious piano starts to build. Musiq takes to the track with his soulful sounds and gets things started. Lil Kim then takes to the instrumental and does her thing behind the mic. She eventually passes things off to Rick Ross, who adds his uncanny wordplay to the track. The single is just the latest from Lil Kim, who’s been on a roll as of late. The track is driven by some snappy drum work and a smooth melody that provides the trio with something slick to do their thing upon.
