For anyone not familiar with the wordsmith known as Locksmith, you’ve been missing out. The west coast native has been doing his thing for a long time, and he’s back with a brand new single. Today Lock links up with another artist known for his penmanship, Jon Connor, unleashing a contagious new track entitled “Angels & Demons.” Both of these MC’s are known for their lyrical prowess, and they deliver an impressive showcase on this one.
The track finds Jon Connor returning to the mic after dropping off his album, SOS. The track was produced by Kato, who laced the two lyricists with something incredible to excel upon. Driven by some smooth, bouncing melodies and these crisp, rattling drum sections, the track lays a vibe for the fellas to shine upon. Lock leads things off with his quick, rapid-fire delivery while showing off his depth in the process. Jon Connor joins in on the track and shows off his style and delivery flawlessly. These two cook up something we’ll be rocking with moving forward; you should do the same.
