It’s been almost two years since Lucky Daye dropped off his debut album. Since Painted arrived, we’ve been a fan, and today the artist is back with something brand new. This time around, he’s back with a silky smooth new single entitled “On Read.” The track finds Lucky pairing up with Tiana Major9, doing for a highly contagious, incredibly smooth new single.
“On Read” is pushed by these cool, laid back melodic guitars, which are seamlessly paired with some refreshing, rattling drum sections. The combination provides the two with an incredible home to do their thing, and they do not fall short in their delivery. Lucky Daye leads things off with his soulful, smooth sounds while Tiana hits the track with her undeniable vocal appeal.
These two sound flawless together, providing a real vibe along the way. The track is just the latest from Mr. Daye, who is currently gearing up to drop off a new EP entitled Table For Two. The new project is slated to arrive on February 12th with features from Ari Lennox, YEBBA, Mahalia, Queen Naija, and Joyce Wrice.
