It seems like it’s been a minute since we got some new music from Major Lazer. While we’ve heard plenty from Diplo, and we’ve seen even more of him lately, today they’re back! The trio known as Major Lazer makes their return to the interwebs, taking things over with a brand new track, and video. The track is called “Que Calor” and finds the group linking up with J Balvin and Dominican artist El Alfa. The track comes to life with a rather fitting and colorful set of visuals. The artists showcase their talents rather well, adding an undeniable appeal in the process.
The video was directed by Colin Tilley and produced by Jamee Ranta and Jack Winter. As the track provides the backdrop, the video finds the artists surrounded by a group of dancers. Each one takes their turn trading verses in Spanish, flawlessly showing off their talents behind the mic. They then head to an underground lair with a sinister look, which is exactly where the party continues. Diplo is seen donning his urban cowboy aesthetic yet again, hyping up his fellow musicians along the way. This is definitely one you shouldn’t be sleeping on. The track is fun and contagious. It’s one we’ll undoubtedly have in steady rotation coming soon.
