It’s been quite some time since we last heard from Omarion. That all changes today. The crooner returns with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment, linking up with T-Pain in the process. The new track is called “Can You Hear Me?” The single is the latest from the singer/songwriter and his first in a minute. He doesn’t disappoint, getting quite a backdrop while serving up something incredibly smooth along the way.
The track is a natural progression for the two R&B veterans. More than just a comeback single, the track is a solid showcase of both artists and their respective talents behind the mic. The track is driven by this contagious, bubbly instrumental, which provides the duo with something special to shine upon. Driven by a combo of 808s and “trap” hi-hats, the backdrop allows both artists to excel. Omarion flexes his vocal talents from the jump, while T-Pain joins in on the action, coming together for something we’ll certainly have in steady rotation moving forward.
