The graffiti artist Shaun Crawford recently unveiled a new exhibition. The artist has taken over Chicago’s Anthony Gallery to showcase “The Beginning of This the End of That.” The exhibition is a display of his raw and energetic approach, offering a unique look at the way bad habits and negative thinking can hinder creativity.
The goal of the exhibit is to showcase the ultimate goal of overcoming them while gaining a new perspective on the world. He uses a process of dyes that are crafted from his own formula. He also ties in iconic characters such as The Smurfs and Mickey Mouse, as well as critiques on social and political events. Crawford has collaborated with Arc’teryx, BAPE, and Engineered Garments, showing off his versatility as an artist along the way.
Take a closer look at his new exhibition in the images and head over to the Anthony Gallery’s website to learn more. Look for “The Beginning of This the End of That” until August 13th. While you’re at it, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more art news and exhibitions coming very soon.
