Own An Icon | 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera RS Clubsport Coupe

When it comes to legendary Porsche’s, the 993 has become a modern classic. It was the last of the air-cooled 911’s, proving to be a hit and quite a force to be reckoned with. Today we get a look at a legendary 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera RS Clubsport Coupe, one of the ultimate versions. This bad boy was stripped to the essentials, throwing out nearly anything and everything not needed on the track. carpeting, air conditioning, rear seat, and soundproofing material are all gone.

The body shell is seam welded, even including thinner glass and aluminum for reduced weight. Bilstein dampers lower the ride height and larger brakes, while adjustable roll bars showcase the ride’s track-focused credentials. Power comes from a 3.0-liter flat-six, which offers 300 horsepower mated to a six-speed manual with gears one through three shortened for acceleration. This beautiful machine has only 38,000 miles and two owners since new and is in highly original condition.

Check out this stunning example of the Porsche 911 Carrera in the images below and head over to RM Sotheby’s to find out more immediately. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new rides and classic cars coming soon.
