The beautiful and incredibly talented, Paloma Ford is back. The songstress had a rather quiet year in 2019, though she’s looking to kick 2020 off with some new sounds. Today she’s back with an infectious new one that you shouldn’t be sleeping on. Paloma serves up something slick called “Rain.” The track is her latest single, jump-starting a new year of new music in the process. She recently opened up about the new single with Complex.
She stated: “Rain’ represents all the emotional highs at the start of a relationship.” Paloma went on to add, “When passion, romance, and energy completely overwhelm your best judgments and insecurities. It’s the seductive moment when you decide to let your guard down and take a leap of faith, despite realizing you may have left yourself vulnerable to somebody that doesn’t love as hard as you.” The track is pushed by a combination of smooth melodic elements that are seamlessly paired with some punchy drum work. The backdrop provides an energetic home for Paloma to do her thing, and as expected, she doesn’t disappoint.
