Phife Dawg – ‘Forever’

The legacy of Phife Dawg lives on! On the sixth anniversary of his tragic passing, the estate of Phife Dawg has released his posthumous album, ‘Forever.’ The executive producer Dion “Rasta Root” Liverpool spoke about the project and stated: “I am really excited for Phife and his legacy. I know he is somewhere smiling and reading the credits and staring at artwork.”

The album features thirteen tracks, led by the singles “Nutshell pt. 2” and the title track, which was the final song Phife would ever record. The project includes an array of guest features from the likes of Rapsody, Busta Rhymes, Redman, Q-Tip, De La Soul, Little Brother, and more. Phife’s talents behind the mic are on full display throughout. His wife, Deisha Taylor, stated: “We are overwhelmed with excitement about the release of Malik’s album. We’ve waited six years for this, so our joy is boundless.”

Check out the new project, ‘Forever’ in the stream below. Keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new music coming soon. RIP Phife Dawg.
