How about something new from Post Malone? It’s been a minute, but the artist is back with something new for our listening pleasures. Today Mr. Malone serves up “Cooped Up.” The track finds Posty linking up with Roddy Ricch, serving up something melodic and contagious. “Cooped Up” is the first time Roddy and Post have aligned since their hit single “Wow.” This time around, they come together to open up about a time of confinement and loneliness.
The track was produced by Louis Bell and Post Malone, driven by some laid-back melodic elements and some cool, fresh drum sections. The combination provides the two with an exceptional home to do their thing. “Cooped Up” follows Post’s previous single, “One Right Now,” which featured The Weekend.
Both tracks are from his upcoming album, Twelve Carat Toothache, which is due June 3.
