In February, Pusha T returned with a new single entitled “DIET COKE.” He also announced that a follow-up to his 2018 project, DAYTONA, would be arriving soon. Well, today, Pusha T is back with a new single, linking up with Jay-Z and Pharrell for a new one called “Neck & Wrist.” The track was previewed on the IG stories of his longtime manager, Steven Victor.
The track finds Pusha and Jay holding things down lyrically while Pharrell adds his own touch to the mic. Both MCs bring their a-game and get an infectious instrumental to excel upon. The track is driven by some familiar drum sections while paired with this menacing, almost ominous growling bassline. The combination is accented with a haunting melodic element that provides the fellas with an incredible home to weave their wordplay. Neither disappoints, cooking up something impressive and highly contagious in the process.
