The Florida-based Apocalypse Manufacturing specializes in off-road-ready customs. Today they are back in the news feed with their latest creation, the Dark Horse. The Apocalypse Dark Horse Ford Bronco 6×6 isn’t your average Bronco, which is exactly why we like it. The modern six-wheel-drive Ford Bronco includes an extra axle and extended bodywork while outfitted with a host of new features from bumper to bumper.
The vehicle consists of a new front bumper and a four-inch suspension lift for extra ground clearance. The 37-inch tires are big and tough, while the roof panel has been revised as well. Under the hood, the vehicle includes a boosted twin-turbo V6 that cranks out 400hp. The new power comes from a combination of software, boost increase, and new injectors and exhaust. The interior is equipped with some modest upgrades, including reupholstered seats in black and brown marine-grade leather. While pricing has yet to be announced, the inaugural build is expected to debut at Barrett Jackson’s Palm Beach auction on April 9th.
