Earlier this Summer, FILA revealed a look at the 2019 Explore line. The range offers a collection of blended modern trends with classic outdoor style. Now, FILA is back, and they are bringing back the classics. FILA is resurrecting basketball Hall of Famer Grant Hill’s second signature shoe; the Grant Hill 2. The sneakers first arrived in 1996, bringing a dose of classic style and modern aesthetics at the time. The Grant Hill 2 is being brought back in its original form, adding some retro appeal to any collection.
The latest run of Grant Hill sneakers come in black, navy blue and red colorways. The iteration also contains separate “Low” and Kid’s iterations. In terms of construction, the re-release boasts a luxe leather build. The sneakers feature FILA’s classic branding on the side, toe, ankle collar, and tongue. The official statement from FILA reads: “The legacy continues.” FILA added, “First released in 1996, one of basketball’s most recognizable silhouettes is back. Celebrate Naismith Basketball Hall-of-Famer @realgranthill with the return of our Grant Hill 2 collection.” The sneaker is sure to elevate your footwear selection for the season, offering retro aesthetics with a classic nod.
